Why Your Ceiling Spec Isn’t Just About Tiles – A Quality Inspector’s View on USG 707 & Securock

  • For home theater or multifamily: How does the ceiling tile perform with flanking noise paths? Consider sealing penetrations and using a resilient channel.

The solution isn’t a product change; it’s a process change. Add a system review step in your quality checklist. Reject any order that doesn’t include the full assembly spec.
