Product Substitution Is a Process Change: Lessons from USG Joint Compound, Durock, and a Glass Cleaner

Here’s my opinion: the product you specify is not the actual purchase. The purchase is the process that product has to survive. I’ve been ordering drywall and finish-system materials for multifamily projects for 11 years, and I’ve made 14 documented mistakes that added up to roughly $43,000 in wasted budget.
